Advanced Division

This is a highly competitive level. Players are expected to have strong all-around skills, a solid understanding of the game, and the ability to handle hard swings and fast-paced play. Teams should be comfortable utilizing 3 contacts, running plays and strategies. Most players have competed in multiple leagues and tournaments.

Intermediate Division

This division is competitive, but less intense than Advanced. Players should have basic fundamental skills, including consistent passing and serving. Not all players will have hard swings, but the level of play is organized and competitive. Teams should be comfortable utilizing 3 contacts.

Recreational Division

This division is more relaxed and fun. Skill levels may vary. Some players may still be working on passing and serving, and hard hitting is less common. If you’re new to volleyball leagues or tournaments, this is the best place to start.
